Serra da Enciña da Lastra

The Serra da Enciña da Lastra is a mountain range in the northeast of the province of Ourense, in Galicia, on the frontier with Castile and León. It is a relatively small mountain range and a nature reserve. It consists primarily of limestone. The steep limestone rock faces stand out sharply against the valley of the river Sil, causing dramatic sceneries. The banks of the Sil lie at approximately 380 meter, while the highest point of the park is situated at 1,089 meter, on the Peña Tara.

In the town Biobra you can find the visitor centre of the nature reserve.
